Custom Chemical Formulation & Private Label FAQ

Straight answers to what buyers ask before they call us.

What does NuGlue, LLC do?
NuGlue, LLC is a custom chemical formulation and private label chemical manufacturing company in Kenosha, Wisconsin. We develop, refine, test and manufacture polyureas, adhesives, epoxies, sealants, coatings, solvent blends and specialty additives for OEM manufacturers, applicators, distributors and brands throughout the United States. Formulas we develop for a client are assigned to that client.
Where is NuGlue located and do you ship nationwide?
Our laboratory and blending facility is at 5800 6th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53140, in the Chicago–Milwaukee industrial corridor. We formulate and ship for clients throughout the United States. Lab hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central.
Do you develop new chemical products or only manufacture existing ones?
Both. We develop original formulations from a performance specification, modify or cost-reduce formulas you already own, match products that have been discontinued, and run contract manufacturing for formulas that need no development at all. Projects enter at whatever stage they are actually at.
How do I get a quote for a custom formulation or private label program?
Call (262) 888-7768 during lab hours or submit your specifications through the contact form. Useful details are the substrates involved, the service environment, the cure or handling window your process allows, target volume and any regulatory limits. We sign a reciprocal NDA before you share anything proprietary.
Who owns the formula NuGlue develops?
The client does. All custom-developed formulas, synthesis methods and product lines are assigned to the client as their proprietary intellectual property. We work under reciprocal NDAs and silo project documentation so no client's chemistry is exposed to another.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Projects normally begin with laboratory sample batches, move to pilot blends in the 100 to 500 gallon range, then into recurring wholesale contracts above 500 gallons. Starting small is expected — it lets you validate the chemistry before committing to production volume.
